Never underestimate a cozy afternoon spent colouring. Kids will spontaneously create their best works of art if you provide the colouring pencils, crayons etc and some paper. Let them travel to foreign lands, journey through time and express their feelings. It will never seize to amaze me how much my kids enjoy the simple activity of coloring!
Making a drawing of a story they read is a way to recall details and cement the story in their memories!
Using the back of a pencil(making sure it has an eraser) is a great way to innovate and bring a new style into finger painting!
Colouring and Math go together like peas and carrots !
Science and colouring are a match sure to please, help them remember forever by matching a nice art project with a science lesson. Your child can make a work of art as she learns the life of a butterfly!
Sometimes it is just nice to improvise some modern art!
Religion and Art a match made in heaven !
